Becker Bulldogs Archery

The Becker Bulldog Archery Team is getting ready for its ninth year! The team will be organized in accordance with the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). Becker Bulldogs Archery is open to grades 4th-12th. The teams will compete in official NASP tournaments and the State Tournament held on March 19- 20, 2027 in Rochester, MN.

The registration fee is $175 (family discounts for multiples). The fee includes: instruction from NASP certified instructors; two practices per week during the season; equipment if needed; equipment maintenance; fees paid for NASP open tournaments; fees paid for the NASP State Tournament, a practice shirt and a tournament jersey.

Season Kickoff Meetings and Events

• Open House will be Monday, September 14th, 2026 from 6pm-7:30pm in the Middle School Gym.

• Mandatory Parent/Archer Meeting will be Monday, October 5th, 2026 at 7:00pm in the PAC. We will be going over a lot of important information at this and ask that the archer and at least one parent attends the meeting.

• REGISTRATION CLOSES OCTOBER 5TH

DIBS Volunteer Program

We are introducing our DIBS volunteer program this year.

Each family is required to complete 2 hours of volunteer time per season, regardless of how many archers are registered in the family.

Volunteer opportunities will be shared as they become available and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Opportunities may include helping with the Becker Meltdown (our tournament), Becker Bowanza, and other team events.

If the 2 volunteer hours are not completed by the end of the season, a $100 fee will be charged to the card associated with the registration account.

New Archers:

A Beginner Instructional Course will be held for all new archers during the weeks of November 9th and November 16th. The start and end times will vary between 5:30 and 8:30. You will be notified of a time slot after registration concludes and we can determine how many new archers we have.

Practices



• Regular practices begin Monday, November 30th.
• Practices will be held in the Middle School Gym (adjacent to the field house) and the field house (Court 4).
• Archers will have 2 practices per week
• The number of archers per practice will be determined by our practice space or spaces we will use.
• Practice days will be Monday - Thursday on a normal week (exact dates to be determined after registration is complete).
• Practice start times to choose from will be 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30.
• Practice sign up information will be provided after registration has been completed.
• Practices will last 50-55 minutes.

There are three divisions for tournaments: Grades 4-5; Grades 6-8; and Grades 9-12.
